Through the STAR2Cs project we have created a range of tools to encourage and facilitate adaptation planning and implementation.
These adaptation tools have been developed and used across the project partnership and by sharing them here we hope that they will continue to be adapted and applied across Europe and beyond to drive adaptation action.

Stakeholder Analysis Tool
The stakeholder analysis tool developed in STAR2Cs helps to identify the stakeholders that are important for a given project and to define for each of them an appropriate level of participation.

Adaptation Catalyst e-tool
The Adaptation Catalyst is designed to support professionals in delivering local adaptation action and supports adaptation planning in complex decision-making scenarios through a dynamic adaptation pathways approach.

3Di-Modelling
Within the STAR2Cs project, HHNK has worked on a new three-step 3Di-modelling approach that provides insights into future flood vulnerability, and tests potential solutions.

Bufferblocks
Bufferblocks offer a solution for stormwater drainage and buffering in urban areas prone to flooding and subsidence.

Interactive climate wall
At the beginning of July 2020, the exhibition ‘The Climate Wall’ opened in the Flood Museum (Watersnoodmuseum) in Ouwerkerk to examine climate change and water issues today.

Climate Street Game
With this game, residents of Bruinisse in in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, can see what they can do to make their environment more climate-proof and even more beautiful.

Climate Dialogues
The Climate Dialogue: Citizen & Government Manual (CGCGM) sets out a process for municipalities to discuss climate change adaptation measures with citizens.
